Description
Provide CPR HLTAID001 – Update requires eight minutes of uninterrupted CPR replacing the previous two minutes.
This is conducted for four minutes on an adult mannikin and four minutes on a child mannikin, and must be completed on the floor (bring a pillow if you may require one).
This course teaches participants the practical skills to perform CPR according to the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
During the course you will learn to:
- DRSABCD
- Respond to an unresponsive casualty
- Perform CPR
- Use of a defibrillator (AED)
Duration of course
3 hours of face-to-face and hands-on instruction.
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate is valid for one year.
